I'm 47 which means that I probably have at most 30-40 years left. There is so much more I want to do with my life. I need to be around for my very young babies but beyond that, I don't want to miss out anymore. I don't know why losing weight is harder than other goals, but it just seems to be. So, if a realistic goal for me is to lose 20 pounds, I think I can do this in 17 weeks which is the duration of the WW program that is about to start. That puts us right at early June and boy wouldn't it be great to be 20 pounds lighter by then?
But sheer will power hasn't worked in the past so what will this time? I think I really need interim goals and rewards and an overall map of how I'm gonna get there. So my goal between now and next Monday 3/3 is to simply be below my top weight and to work on drinking more water. I can do that, right?
