Homemade Tortillas

Saturday, February 22, 2014

Hello Sparkfamily! Do you like to stuff a tortilla with turkey or veggies or both? Well then come on in and make my recipe! Take a look!

Ingredients~

3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups water

Directions~

Mix all dry ingredients together.
Warm up water and pour all at once. Mix well and let sit for 10 minutes, covered with a paper towel.
After 10 minutes divide into 15 1" balls. Place balls in a bowl and let sit for another 10 minutes.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out tortillas (8 to 10" diameter).
Heat a pan until water sizzles when sprinkled on it and throw in as many tortillas as you want to eat, one at a time.
Note: you can save the rest for up to 4 days without cooking them and after they are cooked you can leave them in the fridge to heat up and eat. Enjoy!

What you stuff your tortillas with? Hugs, Rose:) emoticon
