Meeting Challenges

This week hasn't been easy. Last week I gained weight despite following the plan so it didn't start well. I then had to travel for work and didn't have control over my evening meals because of staying with another family. I returned home to find my children making cookies. Well, at least they were getting along until it was time for them to do the dishes. The one really great thing that happened was that I went on a fantastic run a few days ago. I felt like it was possible for me to complete the 5K I signed up for next month. The scale cooperated this week and I'm down 2.6 pounds. Sometimes it seems a little overwhelming with well over 50 pounds to go. But I try to think about smaller goals.

    Signing up for races is the best way to help stay on track. I agree, travel can be a challenge. Keep trying and don't give up!
