Ok, so side note--Just polished off a Panera Powerhouse Bowl w/Steak, Egg, Avocado, and Diced Tomatoes. It was quite yummy!! I do wish it had been a warm bowl instead of cold but still yummy!!!

So, I have passed the 4 month mark after my diagnosis. So, far 1 round of chemo, all of my hair, and the fatigue about broke me from my nuelesta shot. Oh and did I mention I no longer have to shave my underarms!!! LOL

Yesterday was my 2nd weekly Taxol treatment. Doc said weekly since its easier on the physical body (and hopefully mind). My tumor is not shrinking but I know it will be what it will be. After all, what can I do about it?! In the beginning I struggled because I wanted to control everything. Then I realized this is not a situation I can control. Leave my treatment up to my doc (I trust her experience).

Unfortunately, in the past 3 months, I have gained approx. 15lbs. Yep, over eating, so tired I could not do anything but sit, and then of course the fact I was so tired it was easier to go through drive thru. BUT...this is something I CAN control. Yep, I have to take low level steroids which will definitely cause some weight gain but I CAN and WILL control this!! hence my powerhouse breakfast this morning INSTEAD of a bagel w/cream cheese. Not to say the darn bagel does not sound so wonderfully good!!
