I am like the rest of the" trying to lose weight "world and have trouble getting out of bed to exercise!!! First off, I personally do not like the word "exercise" so always call it working out. Also, like everyone else, when finished working out- always feel great and it's oh so worth it!!!
Now I tell myself to go walking for a bit. Get in my sweats and go down to the gym and use the treadmill (my favorite equipment). Say to me-"all you have to do is a little bit of walking for 20 minutes at a moderate pace" and you'll be good for the day.
Another form of trickery as I know once I get going on that treadmill, I will pump up the music volume, raise up the incline at different levels, walk fast, & probably stay on for 30-40 minutes. Ending with a terrific work out!
Only once have I just walked for 25 minutes in all the days I've told myself - only need to do a little bit.
I love the treadmill. Spring is in about 6 weeks so hopefully get outside again and do my laps on the track. Will see- maybe switch walking methods.
I take turns doing different forms of workouts as on DVD's & strength training but mostly just want to go walking....
