Breathe...my attempt to lessen tiredness and cravings later in the day...

My thought is that in the beginning of the day, I do get things done, but I forget to breathe enough or deeply enough. Therefore toward the latter part of the day I am very tired and to feel better I crave food, mostly carbs, Of course that does not cure my tiredness or negative feelings.

I will post a sign near my computer and elsewhere in the house to remind myself to breathe more deeply--well--breathe anyway.











I hope this is about breathing...

I sure hope this is a tactic that can help me stretch my energy throughout the day.

Really, I think the wonderful arts of meditation, tai chi, yoga, ---the heart of all of those is simply breathing, deeply, calmly.

    I realized the other day that I often "think too much" . Probably because I am a nurse and constantly analysing data of some type and considering the necessary interventions.

I don't need to think about why I am overweight though....the reason will not solve the problem.....taking action of eating less and moving more it what will get the weight off.

Thank you for posting the info about breathing....I sure needed those reminders!
