My kitchen looked like a crime scene!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday, February 20, 2014

Hmmmmm so as parents what are you always telling your kids? don't leave your drinks hanging around and although my little boy (young man 17 yrs old) is suppose to know better and listen hahahaha he's a teen and doesn't always...
So we're getting ready to leave for hockey game , hello 2 hour hockey game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's carrying his equipment and low and behold.................... it hits his half glass RED Kool aid that he hasn't finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!
So .................... RED all over the island , upholstered stool (thank god I have scotch guard and it's a dark color) and of course the floor and yes even hit a wall................... I see the cup go over and I'm like OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Son is oblivious to what he's done hahaha what mom? why you yelling????????
I said how many times have I told you not to leave your cups of RED kool aid on the island!!!!!!!!!
It looked like a crime scene only instead of blood it was kool aid..... oh dear lord when he has his house someday I"m going to go over and drink red kool aid spill it , chocolate milk spill it on his white drapes ( oh yes he did this to me once also hahaha brand new drapes stains never came out hahaha) and yes I'll be putting every light on in his house and leaving the rooms hahahaha
But I love him and to prove it I sat in a cold ice arena for 2 1/2 hours and I"M SO PAYING FOR IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M IN SEVERE PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I MEAN JUMP THE BRIDGE KIND....
He went to a party today you know the birthday party he had to pay for his own meal to go to (not happy about that) and he came home gave me a kiss on the cheek and I said what's that for? he said I know your hurting from watching me play today , it's just because I love you emoticon emoticon which makes the pain much more bearable and the crime scene fade away in my mind....
All in all I wouldn't trade not having the pain, because I got to see him play in his last game and I just know what an amazing son I do have even if he makes my house look like a crime scene every once in a while hahaha

Now all you would have had to do is have a "chalk body outline" created nearby - for full effect!

I love hockey! My son started and was an excellent skater but he didn't enjoy the hockey much darnit!

When they show affection its so easy to forget the endless messes and such. emoticon
