We had a 40 degree day to shovel the snow,

Thursday, February 20, 2014

DH and I went out to shovel snow. We had just got out when. Service man arrived an hour early. I was left alone but it was no problem because it was light and easy to move. I was glad to be out in warmer weather . We cleared the drives early so the sun can get to them. If the wind picks up it ices over. Today was a good day.
I did do the snow shoveling with my scoop.

A Walking buddy wanted to walk at the hospital, I suggested we walk the car parks it was great. There are inclines and it makes it more interesting. Very soon our rail trail will be cleared an then we do 4 miles at a time.

DH and I had to move the furniture back to where it was because the sun was too often on the TV screen.
It was a disappointment but I need to make space for our Grand daughters piano. That is very important to the family.

Afterwards I was weary and watched a Netflix British show.

I did very little on the computer butt I have been here about 2 hours and it was a bad move. I will pace it better tomorrow. My Bed is calling HUGS Pat in Maine.
Good night Thanks for reading my blog. Sorry they are not much interesting. Pat

Yep, moving furniture is tiring and so is too much computer time at once. Glad you got warmer temps, and time in for walking.

Your blogs are always interesting to me. Some days reach higher than others, like all parts of life. It's good to see you have quieter days.

YAY for some warmer weather!! We've had some this week and it has been wonderful! We are supposed to have thunderstorms/rain today and then next week the temp is supposed to drop again. emoticon Good luck with preps for family's arrival!! Maybe your son could help you move some furniture when they arrive?

We had a couple days of melting here, but now it is cold and windy. We still have a layer of ice on the driveway. We didn't get the snowblower before we had a huge layer of ice, and now all we've been able to do is keep it cleaned off. Sure will be glad to see spring this year.

Your blogs are always so interesting!!! I am glad you are having warmer weather. We were in the 50s yesterday and 60 today with lots of rain so it will help wash away the snow. Have to worry about flooding on the roads. Right now it is very foggy!! I hope you slept well!!

We had the same problem with our new TV....it became a big mirror. We couldn't move it so I found some "blackout" easy hang curtains and put them on the offending windows, that did the trick. We can't see out when watching tv during the day, but I guess it is the trade off.

Glad you had nice weather to shovel your snow.
I got out and walked with a friend today too. It is nice when you have someone to visit with while you walk.

Glad that you like shoving the in 40 in degree weather and got a walk in. Moving furniture is very hard work too. You will figure out how to get the piano in and let the TV stay where it is so you can see it without the sun hitting it. Have a goodnight sleep. Pleasant Dreams!!! Sending Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't seem so bad to shovel snow when it's in the 40's! Glad you got your walk in and soon you'll have the rail trails.....notice I'm being positive about no more snow. lol

Have a good night's sleep. You'll figure out where to put the piano.

We live in a small house and the furniture often will only fit one way. LOL.
