OK, has anyone seen a "Joggler" before?

Thursday, February 20, 2014

Had a great run today. I forgot my Garmin, so I don't know how fast I ran or how far. I just ran! It was a lot of fun. top my fun run....

I saw this guy running towards me. He was a barefoot runner (not for me, but cool), but wait... he was juggling bowling pins while he was running.

I looked this up on the internet tonight and this is actually a thing. It's called "Joggling". People even do this while they run marathons. Truly amazing!

I wish I would have had time to get my phone out my pouch to take a picture, but here is a picture showing another "Joggler".

Bare feet! And joggling! All I can think is how focus you have to be to achieve this... amazing! I guess there is always a way to make something more challenging - I am definitely not there! Bare feet is not for me - tried it once for 5k in a gym ... and I am lacking coordination! :-)
Thanks for posting!

I'm sitting here with my mouth hanging open! Who would have ever guessed it was even possible? I'd like to know what the first person to try it was thinking...."I think I'm going to juggle these bowling pins while I'm jogging....yes. I think it's an excellent idea."

Probably an idea straight from God....never say "can't".

That's funny! I don't see how anyone could be that coordinated. I'm just lucky that I can run/jog in a straight line. Can't imagine trying to juggle at the same time!

I've never come across a joggler before... .but during my marathon last fall, I was passed by a guy jump-roping the course. Yup... passed by a guy jump-roping.

Interesting. Wonder why they do it. Maybe it helps them to focus, or makes the time go faster.

I did a serious double take when I saw one once. I didn't know it was a thing until then either.

That is so cool but I probably would hit my head with it (all three times). Plus I can run because of the arthritis in my ankle
