Hit the gym again.

So far I have managed to hit the gym once a week. Sounds bad but I walk at least 1 hour + everyday and have been done some light 5# upper body workouts and also doing some Leslie Sansone dvd's. I am still interval training on the treadmill, which means I walk fast @ 3.5 for 4 min. then jog @ 4.2 for 1 min. then go down to walking at 3.7 slow jog for a min and back to 3.5 for 4 min. It is a start and I still have to be careful on my ankle but at least I am not whizzing like I did the first time I tried to do any jogging again. Hopefully I will be back to slow jogging and getting some 5k's going again by this summer or sooner.
Poor Jeff has been working so much overtime that when they asked him tonight he said "No, I am going to go home to my bride". That's what he still calls me after all these years.
Last night he got home close to 9pm and he is just a beat up old man, his words not mine. He is home tonight and we will be having dinner soon.
The weather was a little over 80 today but when I got up it was 66 degrees (low of 50 last night) inside the house @7:30am. I still opened all the windows to let all the morning cold air inside. It was till 66 degrees inside the house @11am with all the windows open. The house never got warmer then 70 degrees at the hottest point of the day. Sure saves on A/C now that the house is so well insulated after the remodel.
Off for now, dinner almost ready.
