was looking at some pics, and one from summer of 2007 stopped me. It's just hubby and me the first time we were in Florida. we are wearing shorts and tees, and i wasn't quite at my highest weight. I remember thinking i had lost some weight before that trip and that i was looking good. And i look at it now and think "eww" but seeing 'the old me" in that photo made me realize that I have made terrific progress!
In 2008, i lost about 30 lbs, from my highest weight, 222. I did regain some, but i kept off 15 lbs.
Jan of 2013, I got serious, not about losing weight, but about changing my LIFESTYLE. and wow, did it work. I lost 47 lbs last year! :) and several inches. now, in Feb 2014, i am staying at that weight, right about 160-162.
i had forgotten about that 15 that i lost and maintained! so i have lost over 60--SIXTY lbs and am maintaining, in fact i am now losing again.
wow. that is a big boost to my motivation.
