Starting a challenge

I am writing this blog that is about a challenge I am starting as of today.. to write once a week about stress that i am going thru... then to see how I can deminish my stress. ( I TRUELY NEED THIS)
For starters I Must cut down on doing everything like if I am super human.. , at home I started to tell my boys there are chores that they need to do to help mom out.clean their rooms , take out the garbage and anything that is microwave you heat up.. clean dishes you use. take dirty clothes to hamper..that is just to start off.. Daddy has been helping out with the cooking I before going to bed will prepare or season meat and he finishes by cooking it by the time I get home from work.He is great cook with fish and seafood mmmmmm!!!!
The next thing is finding some me time to exercise or meditate.. last night I meditated for 10 mins listening to meditation sounds.. I am aming to do some slow yoga...I just started to listen to lots of musicin my car at work and at home..
This is the big one and hard for me .. at work I am always helping everyone with thier jobs.. to a point that I do it all...need to let them do it themselves and me just monitor them..
Now I have made this list some I started some needs to start with check in next week to see any changes...

    You sound so much like me!! The one who tries to be all things to all people : )
    I've since found out I can't! We are not put together to handle everything alone. Guess we need to go back to Kindergarten and learn the word SHARE. That means share for everyone else----like chores, cooking etc. Sounds like you have that down already. Everyone needs to know you are not the hired help.
    One thing I try to do is take time out just for me! I find time to read, get on the computer and do things I want to. I'm retired so it shouldn't be so hard, but I found myself sitting and watching TV shows I hated just to please my husband. No more of that! He caught on after a while and is fine with me taking "ME" time. Everyone may be in shock for a while, but they will adjust ; ) Good luck to you! Eileen Hopeful Hearts team

    Don't try to do so many difference changes at the same time. I would suggest you try just a couple at a time, and I would make doing others people work at the job the 1st one. You might be surprised the tension that will release, they were hired to do the job, let them do it, step back and let them make the mistakes and they will learn to do things on their own. You really are not helping them and they are learn that others will do their work. I truly hope you succeed, just don't expect it all at once.
