Celebrating YOU

Thursday, February 20, 2014

Recently I joined a beading/jewelry making class. The first obstacle I faced was choosing my first project. There must have been a gazillion options. I decided to make a bracelet for my 15 year niece. Well, that narrowed it down to half a gazillion options.

I decided on a combination of turquoise and black stones and beads. Then I spent hours selecting just the right the beads and ornaments. Each stone, each bead held its' own particular beauty, dimension and fascination.

The same goes for each of us. No two of us are alike.
Just think of it, wouldn't it be a boring world if we were exact copies of each other.

Celebrate your unique beauty, your unique individuality - the REAL you.

My bracelet class which was delayed due to snow is this Thursday. I adore beads, touching them, playing with them. You can get lost in beads. They call to me.

I think that our beauty is our ability to unite with another in a common goal.

I'd love to see a picture of your Niece's bracelet.

thank you for another uplifting blog. You're so right... we're all different, but we're all beautiful, each in our own way.

By the way, DH bought a new motorcycle today... at 74... a Honda 250 because he's decided to sell his Yamaha R6. He admitted that he scared himself a couple of times last year... so he's very excited and looking forward to spring and picking up the new bike.
