Spark doesn't like brackets. Ate my blog post. }:/

Thursday, February 20, 2014

Great. I write a blog post about dealing with a stressful morning that ran counter to all plans. But I coped. And then I hit post. Spark tells me I have HMTL in it and to go back. Well I most certainly did not have HTML in it, but when I click on the back button provided, it gives me a blank blog entry, the one I had written deleted. Spark thinks anything you do with a bracket is code, so I probably had a bracket in there somewhere instead of a parenthesis. Idiotic system. Hello 2014!!!!!

Just about par for the course today. I am so angry right now I could spit.

Added -- I also wish they'd set up blog replies so you can get a conversation going as you can with Facebook. Rather than having to go to each person's page and comment there. I'd love to do that, but I just don't have enough time!

Oh yeah. I've done that many times.

The important thing is that you handled a stressful morning well. Don't lose sight of that!

After losing a blog post, I started drafting them in word and cutting/pasting into Spark. And sometimes I'll respond in my post to a comment, but it only starts a conversation if the commenter has notifications turned on.

I've had that happen to me before. The blog system REALLY needs to be updated. Majorly.

I had that happen last week when I tried to put a common symbol for a heart, on several social media sites, in my blog title. Silly SP and their no HTML.

I hope the rest of you day will be less stressful.
