Moving on to radiation therapy

Wednesday, February 19, 2014

I'm really ready to move onward to my treatments. I met with my doctor on Monday and did the setup today. The mold for my arms is made. The CAT scan is done. The physicist and doctor will determine the best radiation equipment to use. The mechanics will be conveyed to me soon. Until then I get a breather.

I will use my breather to do my home communions. I have one on Tuesday in a personal care unit. I will visit a family on Friday at home. Next week I will visit a new person. It helps me to give to others.

I will also go to a women's golf league social tomorrow evening. Yes, I'm getting my nails done. I tried on a casual pants suit that looks great. I will go with my golf partner.

All in all, things are God's time...not my time!

hi Sandra....Just want to tell you you are on my "prayer warrior" app on my Kindle Fire...this reminds me to pray once or twice a day for you. You are right. It is God's way in God's time. Hang in there.

You have such a great attitude! You must be an inspiration to people who you meet at the doctors and everywhere. You remind me of my mother. She lost her battle with cancer in 2005, but was a real trouper like you. God bless you. Hope the treatments go well. In the mean time do get out there and enjoy life! Eileen

I love your attitude to help other's especially when you have some problems of your own going on. It's always good for the soul. I'll be praying about your upcoming treatments!
