Where did Tuesday go?

Hmm? guess I am still fighting this cold, can't remember where yesterday went... Today, woke up to see the storm was happening and went back to sleep. The pre-school called to see if I would come in and volunteer. I was asleep, it was 9:15, and when I said I could be there for 10, they said never mind.. Oh well.

Then I went back to sleep till 11am. Got up, made boiled dinner which I had my friend and her dh over to eat supper. Nice visit... It was her birthday yesterday. I picked her up a six pack....of flavoured water... We played Yahtzee and some cribbage for a little bit while the men watched the news. She's gluten and lactose sensitive, so had to be careful of that. For desert, since we are all diabetics as well, we had some rosemary and apricot crisps and a fruit medley and tea.

I also shoveled the driveway, visited with my neighbor as we shoveled and then Buddy and I walked 2 laps at the dam.... busy, but fun and tiring day.

    I need to do more with others - I admire that you do that often. I contemplate how my life is right now and realize that this is what I need - more human interaction.

    It is a good work out. I even got some of that here in Georgia when it snowed last week. I thought I would have to shovel snow since moving from Rhode Island. You get better. emoticon
