Form fitting fitness wear

Wednesday, February 19, 2014

It's hard in some ways for me to want to buy the more form fitting fitness gear (capris and tops) but I think I honestly feel better in it. I feel sexier and actually a little fitter just having something that hugs my legs to the point where I can see the muscles move underneath. I think part of the deal is they make me look like someone who's serious about working out in a way that loose pants and baggy tshirts do not.

I may not be able to bear the tops in public yet but I can see me rocking my capris out walking.

form fitting and my body are two things that just do not go together. when you are truly hippy everything shows and it can be ugly. lol

I can do form fitting leggings pretty well with a longish t-shirt. I actually have pretty nice legs...I really do carry a majority of my weight in my tummy area. I have a little more thigh than I'd like but we're talking an inch maybe. I have seven inches of tummy that I don't want....what I really look is pregnant because I don't carry the excess weight in my arms or lower legs at all and not much in my upper legs either (I have the inner thigh thing where they rub but I have fairly slim hips.

I never get told to stop eating so many cheeseburgers (like I've heard people randomly tell people who were overweight emoticon )...I get asked when I'm due and whether it's a boy or a girl...and I've never been pregnant.

I'm not able to workout with anything touching my knee, that was messed up in the car accident. In fact, as soon as I get home, when I'm wearing jeans, which is always, I take them off immediately, as the pain is so intense. I wear baggy shorts, as I'm self conscious about form fitting clothes. I wear my t-shirts, or a curves shirt and a pair of wide legged baggy shorts. Those are my comfy clothes!

No matter what we wear, what matters most is that we're comfortable and can get a good effective workout!

    Be blessed,

I feel extremely self conscious in the form fitting leggin's. I've worn them with dresses & skirts. (The dresses being more like a swimsuit cover-up.) I did just purchase some work out cargo's, tho, that I'm quite happy with (the fit.)

I agree...some of the tops are a little too skimpy for my liking, but I'm more of a "summer chicken" as opposed to a spring chicken! Keep on keepin' on! emoticon

Same here. That's where the tops are an issue. I'm mostly fat in the middle. The rest of me just looks curvy to actually fairly thin.

    Good for you!

I feel more comfortable in form-fitting stuff, but I'm also uncomfortable with the rolls of fat that are visible when I wear them. Talk about a dichotomy....
