Hump Day

Wednesday, February 19, 2014

What day is it? I know you can hear me. That commercial irked me. I do like Wednesday's though. It use to be(notice I said use) the best night for television. For one reason or another there was always something to look forward to on Wednesday. Not so now. It has become just another day of the week. BORING.

I need ideas to spice up Wednesdays. I want it to stand out from all the other days of the week. It use to be Prince spaghettic day. If you ever tasted my Mom's sauce you would know that was special. My son said my sauce is close but not Gram's. I said it had to be because she taught me, but he said no, because it wasn't made with her secret ingredient. Her love. My Mom just smiled. What about my love humffff. Any ideas, please share them. I am losing motivation, and everything. I am bored in a rut and beginning to get that I don't give a %$%%$ attitude. Where's the chocolate and ice cream. HELP

Maybe you could start a new family tradition - Wednesday game night. I haven't played board games in quite a while, but they were fun!

I'm in agreement with the others too. Go to prayer meeting at church. Take a walk through the mall. Invite people over to dance and exercise, prayer service, make a new recipe and things like that. Teach yourself something new too. You Can Do It. Keep Pushing Forward. God will see you through it. Have faith.

Yupp - putting on the good rock-n-roll and dancing around the house is fabulous! You can throw in lunges and squats and arm rolls and stretches - great fun AND great exercise!

Ghost Hunters emoticon is on the SyFy channel on Wednesday night, but aside from that, I suggest old movies or Dancin' to the oldies!

That's what I do, NEW-CAZ. I love listening to my oldies station and dancing. I generally will not watch much TV (yeah . . . not much on!) but when I do, I'm always doing something else too to keep the hands busy . . . reading, getting some e-mails answered, running in place, using my resistance band or hand weights.

Hope your weather clears up. That makes me a cranky person when I can't get outside! Today (and yesterday) were sunny, lots of snow melt. Tomorrow the boom is lowered again, though: drizzle, rain, freezing drizzle, freezing rain, ice and snow. Thanks a lot, Mother Nature . . . NOT!

HUGS and hang in there, Bonnie! Did you get your food replenished??

Wednesday is just another day.... One day at a time! It's not worth taking the first bite of chocolate ice cream! If I can do it.... You can do it!

*slaps wrist with wet lettuce leaf as Bonnie opens the freezer* LEAVE!! good girl emoticon

Wednesday night is c*ap on TV...but then most nights bar a couple of soups are pretty darn rubbish!

Try the radio and dancing to whatever comes on.
Tonight I'm going to do Jilian Michaels Shred with kettle bell (30mins) as Pete's seeing John and the link was sent to me so I'll give it a go.
