You know I looooove to bake my paleo goodies, and a little goes a long way with them. One or two cookies is satisfying enough. The reason is that coconut flour is high in fiber and fairly good in protein, and almond flour is high in protein.

I use Bob's Red Mill brand.

coconut flour: 2 tbsp (much more drying than almond, so you use less)
Total Carbohydrate - 8 g
Sugars - 1 g
Dietary Fiber - 5 g
Protein - 2 g

almond flour: 1/4 cup
Total Carbohydrate - 6 g
Sugars - 1 g
Dietary Fiber - 3 g
Protein - 6 g

Just thought I'd share that.

And what they say is true. Once you start eating more whole food, your taste buds change. What was once the greatest thing in the world now taste weird, or even gross. I used to hate dark chocolate - now it's perfect, and milk is waaaay too sweet. The same with veggies - Brussels sprouts, for example. Before you couldn't pay me to eat them. Now, they're delish!

LOL Yeah living in the desert is boring weather wise. Our winter is basically over, we are back up to highs in the low 80s. However, this should hold out til about May. Summer is BRUTAL, just brutal, but the winter is nice. Unfortunatly summer is late May til October. Thats cool that you are into BB, I dont have any programs, but Iv thought of the T25. I heard Shakeology was good, but never tried it-man that stuff is ex-pens-ive!
Have a lovely day. Take time to admire Ben. I know I will.
