Week Eight: Healthy Day.

Today I did well with my water intake. I drank 6 cups of water and 4 cups of decaffeinated peppermint tea (itís naturally decaf). I made healthy choices for food. I tried a new recipe for me today. It was a sweet potato and black bean burrito. I didnít have sweet potato but I did have yams. I eat a yam a day. They are healthier than sweet potatoes so thatís why I eat them. I switched to them from the potato. Now I rarely have a potato. The burrito was different from what I normally think of a burrito but it was good. I still have some black beans from it so I might have it for lunch or dinner tomorrow. I also exercised doing a lot of water activities and using the water dumbbells and noodle.


My healthy high point today was being able to do more in the pool. I focused on my core to keep me in place so when I was using the water dumbbells in the diving are it wouldnít propel me. This is harder than it sounds. I have noticed I have been traveling less when doing the exercises.

My health low point was my back pain. If was feeling well I would do deep water class but I felt it was best to let my body rest and heal.
