Checking in Feb.

So I figured it was time for a progress report. My husband is down 20LBS (in one month)! Iím down a total of 15LBS(several months). I got a new job and because of that I am now able to work out more often and hope that my total weight loss will keep going up. I allowed myself two weeks off before starting my new job to eat whatever I wanted (within reason) and I managed to maintain my weight loss so far (No Gain Woot!). I started Friday and did the finishing touches on cleaning the house on Sunday along with getting my hair cut. We got our new sofa on Monday and our living room is much more open and will be a lot easier to work out in during my weekends off. I used my lunch today to get a workout in and when I got back to my desk I had a hard time lifting the spoon to eat my lunch. I feel great when I eat better and I need to remind myself that I need to make my food on the days when I will be home with the baby. My son is all about mama, itís such a blessing until I get hungry and cannot cook with him wanting to be held the whole time. Some days heís great and I can cook others he wants to be next to me all day. So packing a lunch 7 days a week will now be a must.
What is working for me:
I have a small white board and I write down the things I know I will eat. My coffee or chai tea, breaky, 1oz. cheese (a must for me and not talking about cheap stuff either), I write a Calorie count for everything so I can add it all up along the way and know whatís left and see what I need (more dairy? More protein? Complex carbs?). This also seems to help me make ideas for dinner because grilled chicken and broccoli gets old fast.

If you have any great tips let me know and I will see if any will work for meÖ.

You are in total control when you pack your own meals. Protein has staying power,, I have fit and active mozzarella sticks for ago-to.. I am a diabetic and when I have a reaction, that cheese really kicks in!

Another good one is tuna.. Tuna or chicken salad stuffed either in a green pepper or tomato is yummy.
