Okay, now that I've finally written the "breakup blog" I get to post about FITNESS!!! WOOHOO!
This year is off to a phenomenal start! Since January I have been doing weekly weigh-ins, measurements, body fat and body water analysis (as accurate my old scale is which I doubt sometimes) and progress pictures! I must say that this has really kept me on track. Even without the logging of everything I eat and every exercise I do. I am making awesome progress and can't wait until this summer to show off the body that winter built!
ABS: I am so in love with how my abs are shaping up. Who knew all I had to do was stop being a sugar mama (eating all kinds of sugary crap, cookies, cakes, pies), cut WAY back on the dairy and drink a ton of water. This is amazeballs! I'm warning you now, I may turn into a selfie queen come summer taking bikini shots (after I work on building a better booty).
Body fat: Ok, I know it's only February and my goal was to drop 2% body fat by March, but according to my scale I have done it already!!! Woohoo! With my regular weigh-ins I've expected to increase up to 3 pounds of body water on the first day of my TOM, but this time I was down in pounds, AND up in body water! So when I resumed my regularly scheduled body composition I was at 25% body fat! Go ME!!!
Areas of improvement:
Upper legs: hips, sides of thighs, back of thighs
I've been looking into more exercises to target these areas, also been looking into running techniques and form to better work these areas in what I already do (might as well run "right" to hit the hot spots since I'm running anyway).
