Hopes & Dreaming Tuesday

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

I was a baddddd girl. I didn't go to church on Sunday - I stayed home all day. I did go to bible study last night though.

On Sunday I was so exhausted from the day spent with Mom. I really didn't do much that day. I made some of my own gluten free spaghetti. I put in very lean ground beef, mushrooms, asparagus, peppers, onions, celery, tomatoes, garlic and used a plain spaghetti sauce. Made 4 cups. It actually was good.

On Monday, I stayed home until 630 pm and went to pick up my medication, and then went to church for bible study. I really am enjoying it. I'm learning a lot more. I'm learning about Christ, and myself. When I left the church there was 2 inches of snow on my vehicle! It wasn't snowing when I went in!

Today, I really feel exhausted again. I did some walking and wall pushups in my apartment. I did some cleaning too. Now it's time to rest again.

I got asked why I went back to church and I answered it honestly. I feel really good about myself. Now to find motivation. Tomorrow i'll be on the road a lot. Same with Thursday and Friday as well.

I use gluten free spaghetti noodles - made with corn not rice. I like the corn spaghetti better - it doesn't get "soggy" like the rice noodles do.

I haven't tried spaghetti squash yet. But I do plan to shortly.

It's been nice out, so going out for a walk is good except for the water puddles and the slush!

Your sauce sounds yum! Do you use GF pasta or spaghetti squash for the noodles? Good for you... Learning more about Christ leads us to learning so much more about ourselves. Good luck for the next couple of days!
