To Do List for Summer

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

I was reading a blog this morning and it gave me an idea that I really needed. This person made a list of things to do this summer. So, I started my own list. It's things I want to do between now and October. I am striving to do as many as I can. I marked it on my calendar to look back and see what exactly I have done.
Here's my List:
paint
organize and re-arrange condo
plan and give the baby shower for my daughter
Baseball games with family
Family walks
Have a water fight using balloons, water guns, or spray bottles
Go hiking in the woods or camping
Have dinner outside at a nearby park and a barbecue
Drive to a lake or the beach for the day. Collect seashells and do something with them.
Plant a garden
Have a Bonfire: weenie roast and símores
Visit an Art Gallery or Museum or Zoo
Blow bubbles
Catch fireflies at night
Pick berries and peaches at a farm
Stargaze while lying in the grass
Sleep with the windows open
Walk barefoot in the grass
Playground fun
Farmers' market
See fireworks and a parade
Swim and make sandcastles
Outdoor concert

The more that I can do with family and friends, the better it will be. Can I do it???

Wow! Glad to see that they aren't all work things either. I should make myself a list of fun things to do too...I could see me getting into the university courses and doing that all summer...

I just read your comments on my blog where you are going to help your mom with her pics. I did this a few years ago, but it would be nice to do before your mom is gone. Go through the pics and make notes of who the people are, or get a tape recorder and tape your mom telling you who they are. I did this and then scanned the pics into the computer and used a special program which also saved my Nanny's voice as she told me who the people were, one was her grandfather at 92..... It's on a CD now, pretty cool... Took months to do and it was a multimedia course I was taking at university at the time..
