Being mindful

Monday, February 17, 2014

I am trying to be mindful in my exercising and eating. I am watching form in exercise. I am eating meals slowly and savoring the taste

I am trying to be mindful in my dealing with others. I pause before I respond. I set time to really listen.

I am going out to do 3 home communions. I may stop at a flower shop and buy a flower for each person. I have some bud vases that I am not using.

I am mindful of my health. I reread my information on my health problems. I will do what it takes to keep RA in remission and find the cure for Breast Cancer.

With God, all things are possible.

I've been told mindfulness can also help alleviate depression and memory problems. My RA contributed to both until I got treatment that works pretty well.

How wonderful to take a flower to each person. That's something to think of as our church starts up the home communion again. Good luck with the radiation.

Being mindful should be a goal for all of us. Just read a devotional about taming the tongue and certainly it is something for all of us to think before we speak for once the words are out they can never be undone. Being mindful of what we put in our bodies is a real responsibility for our future and for our children who may wind up having to care for us. Thank you for a blog that encourages good lifetime goals! emoticon
