Day 1- not perfect, but making improvements

Well, day one with no sugar is coming to a close. I was okay this morning, but around noon I had some strong cravings. All I could think about was getting a sugary coffee. I was pretty tired, so I guess I wanted that caffeine and sugar combo to give me a boost. When I got home after work, I really, really wanted something sweet. but I just kept eating fruit till that feeling subsided. I didn't realize how comforting I find sugar.
I guess we'll see how the rest of the week goes. Hopefully as long as I keep in mind that this is just temporary, so I can re-train my taste buds, that'll help keep me on track.
