Got up early and walked to Mass and back, it took one hour. The new priest at my church is going on pilgrimage tomorrow to the Holy Land . When I heard all I could say was 'wow', which I said about five times. I was trying to think of something deep to say but everytime I opened my mouth it just went 'Wow' totally independent of my mind.
When I got in I had a go at plotting my route on Sparkpeople. I was very impressed. I will have another go tomorrow plotting a walk I used to do round Regents Park. Spring must come soon and then I will start longer walks through the park and around London.
I didn't lose any more weight today but I am not bothered because I lost 2lb last week. I tend to lose it in lumps!
Tomorrow I have to wait in for the heating engineers again. The radiator in my sitting room isn't working again.
I kept to my calorie allowance but had a very nasty shock when checking calorific values. I was just about to start cooking a vegetable stir fry when my son got in from work. He had bought a take away from Wasabi which is a Japanese chain. He gave me half of his meal. I looked it up after I had eaten and found a full portion was almost 1200 calories. So I had eaten 600 calories. I was still in my calorie allowance and it was very tasty, but I wish I had had my stir fry.
I did a bit more decluttering. It is certainly very therapeutic.

    I hope to lengthen my walks once the snow has melted and the ground is dry. There are places on the streets where water lies in puddles and there are some that will drive through them and splash water on anyone near them.

    I think the map feature of Spark People is wonderful and have mapped my walks. I have never been out of the US.

    Castle is on as I am reading this! Glad you enjoyed the take-away before you knew how many calories it was...you can have your stir-fry tomorrow! I've always wanted to visit the Holy Land and see the Wailing Wall. And Stacy has been "several time"??? WOW is right!

    Good for you for de-cluttering. I'm working on my kitchen right now. I thought it would take a couple of hours and I'm on day three!!

    Sounds like your walking is going well. I wish I could walk around London with you - it's one of the places I've always wanted to visit!!

    Good for your priest for the visit to Israel. There is nothing like it - one of the places I've been several times. My favorite place to visit - other than the sidewalk cafes in Tel Aviv - was Gethsemane in Jerusalem. So touching. Maybe he will bring back some holy water from the Jordan River. I remember doing that my first trip over ...
