I know it's been a while since I've blogged but I've been through such a transformation lately I just simply haven't had the time.

Most of you have been following my blogs for a while and know about my breakup last year and how much it effected my weight loss journey. About a week ago, I had finally had enough of the Devil and everything bad pulling on me so before I went to bed, I got down on my hands and knees and surrendered everything and rededicated myself to God. I was tired of living as a halfway Christian and tired of only doing things part of the way for Him. The next morning I woke up and was completely relieved and felt at peace and ready to conquer the world.

Later that day, I received an e-mail from EHarmony that someone was interested in me. I really wasn't ready to get back into the swing of things yet in the dating world but figured I'd take a chance and take a peak at his profile. It ended up being a young Pastor in my town that Pastor's a church not far from where I live. I took the chance and sent him a message and we talked back and forth for a while, and had a lunch date after church this past Sunday.

I am not sure if things will go anywhere, but so far he is really sweet and amazing and I am really looking forward to seeing where God takes this. I truly feel that it was God's intention for me to meet him, but in order to do so, I had to surrender myself to Him again and get right with Him.

I am so hopeful and thankful right now and ready to conquer and win the rest of my weight loss journey!
