I went to microwave a frozen chicken pot pie and my microwave was not displaying the time. So I thought that my microwave of ten years had died! I thought I would have to replace the microwave on Friday, when I have a chance to go shopping with a friend. Later I went to use my kitchen light and it did not work. Puzzled, I checked the circuit breakers and reset them. The microwave and lights worked again! I have no clue what happened but I am glad that I do not have to replace the microwave!

What a bummer not to have the pot pie when you were probably hungry and looking forward to it.

Glad to hear it was a quick fix and you didn't have to get another microwave.

Yeah I really enjoy the fact that I am able to save money and not pay an unexpected amount. I am so use to the way this microwave works that a new one would require experimentation, I was not looking forward to that too. And yes I did consume the chicken pot pie!

That's good news. I think all my kitchen appliances are going to give up the ghost any time soon. Did you enjoy your pie?

Flipping a circuit breaker is much cheaper than a new microwave!

emoticon Was probably a little power blip! Lucky you didn't blow out other things. We are having lots of internet and cable interruptions today caused by the high far the power has held.

Isn't it funny the "little victories" like not having to buy a new microwave and how they delight us? Does that mean we are easily amused??

Have a great day my Beloved Space Cadet!!
