This one is not upbeat but a good motivation song.

Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson. It talks about making the change.

Michal Jackson has a lot of cool song to exercise to.

Just about anything from Lady GaGa is upbeat. Fire work by I think Kate Perry. Lol this may sound weird but I like The Bitch is Back by Elton John, it is upbeat and gives me a good laugh and motivates me a great deal. Also some of Elvis Presley's music is upbeat. Oh and BeeGees is good too. I could go on if I had more time. I hope you find music that works for you!

Have just begun reading about you. What an encouragement you are. I've been struggling and hoping that your example can help me. I'm delighted to be able to possibly help you.
Okay. You didn't mention Latin music, but when I hear it I just can't help but get up and move. I have a list of songs that I use from either You Tube or Spotify that help. They are Muevete by DLG to warm up. Then Boom Boom by Chayenne, Suavamente by Elvis Crespo, Get on Your Feet by Gloria Estefan, Magalenha by Sergio Mendes, I Need to Know by Marc Anthony, Juliana by DLG, Let's Get Loud by Jennifer Lopez, and A Puro Dolor by Son By 4.
I combine Latin steps and aerobic exercise. It's always enjoyable and my grandkids love doing it with me. We even form a conga line and dance through the rooms of the house. Hope this helps!

One of my all-time favorite albums with almost every song an upbeat pumped up tune: Paul Simon's Graceland with his South African band. SO many great songs on that one!

I like funky stuff like Earth, Wind & Fire and another band "Incognito"...their best album IMHO is "Tales From The Beach." Others I love are some Stevie Wonder, "Play That Funky Music White Boy", Talking Heads have a number of great tunes also David Byrne "Like Humans Do" and others by Byrne.

Billy Joel: We Didn't Start the Fire, Second Wind (You're Only Human), I Go To Extremes

Jackson Browne: Running On Empty, Shape of The Heart, Somebody's Baby

LOVE the power chord hard-driving drumming of Keith Moon and the Who...two favorite albums: Live At Leeds and Quadrophrenia.

I could go on and on! Let me know if you need more stuff...

I won't name individual works or artists, as our tastes may vary. There is a website I'll suggest -- UpChucky.org -- that has a few options for artists, time periods and perhaps a dozen songs by one artist, if you like a lot of someone at once. I don't think, however, you can download from UpChucky onto an iPod sort of thing. It's for playing on line.

UpChucky.org may be ancient internet fare, but it's an option with lots on offer.
