Lonely

Sunday, February 16, 2014

Ugh, days have been rough lately. Getting over being unbelievably sick the last few weeks and navigating a seriously long distance military relationship has really been taking its toll on me. Maybe it is because I have not been able to go to the gym and train or maybe because I have not seen Neil when I really needed him lately and we don't know when I will see him again (so I don't have any fun countdowns going on or trips to look forward too) OR maybe it's both, but it really stinks lately.

If there is one thing that I just hate, it's being sick and without the comfort of your significant other. Ugh, it's overwhelming to think about all the time I WONT be with him, so I just try not to think about it.

Needless to say, I'm finally well enough to start training again. Make sure you are all taking care of yourselves and being kind to your body. These bugs and viruses that are going around are just BRUTAL!

I hope you are all healthier than I am or on the road to recovery!

Peace and Love!

Jackie

I'm sure he feels bad he can't be there with you while your sick, but he's serving his country and for that you can be proud. I remember when my hubby was in the military a lot of times either I'd be sick or my son and he'd be away, it can be lonely but have to just cherish the times when you are together.
