First 10k, a 10k trail race - Done!

Sunday, February 16, 2014

Beautiful location.
It was windy but it got much worse after I was done.
I didn't have a real goal other than finish, have fun and hopefully get done within 2 hours.
I had fun and I got done in 1 hour and 50 minutes. Not fast but it was hilly and I had to walk up hills more than I expected.

A few shots.

I passed this guy going up hill :)

My legs feel pretty good. I have a really nasty blister but that's the worst of it.

Now I'm going for a nice soak in the tub and some hot tea before bed.

Wow, impressive! Good job. I don't think I could do a trail run.

Wow! What a beautiful place to run. I live in the mountains and exclusively run trail races. Those are some mighty steep hills on in your photos.

Congratulations for getting it done!
