Car Shopping...

Sunday, February 16, 2014

We have been car shopping for three days straight! I ate healthy but lots of sitting! One sales team tried to rip us off -- not happening!!

The only exercise I got in was cleaning the house and shoveling snow. I have to work on more fitness minutes this week!!

I hope you have a fantastic week!!

Oh my Not something that I would want to be doing. The last car we got I stopped in and talked with the guy who found our other car. He told me to come back in two hours due to a trade in coming. Sure enough it was a 3 year old car, with only 20,000 miles and I'm still driving it around 17 years later ! Just love the car and it only has 52,000 miles on it ! As you can see we don't have to drive very far to get around here !

Ugh! Do your research and know when to walk away. I'd rather go to the dentist than go car shopping.

My pastor used to be a used car salesman and his quota was 10 a month. I agree with what MWWENSIN said. Financing is another area where they rip you off. It is better to finance through some place other than the dealership.

Good luck on the car hunt! And stay away from rip-off artists. My DH can spot them a mile away;) I have learned the value of walking away with a poker face on.

Get a good walk in and around the showroom as you wait! Me? Or while you wait, my favorite static exercises are chair squats on a wall, easy yoga poses, simple stretches. I get some strange looks, but more people should make good use of down time. I am a big advocate of walking meetings.

Good Luck on your car shopping. Those salesman are really sneaky. And the guy they bring in to work the numbers is sneaky too. emoticon

Snow shoveling really burns calories! I am still sore from shoveling on Thursday! emoticon
Good luck with your car shopping. Why does buying a mattress, a car, appliances, etc have to be sooo hard?!

Don't let anybody talk you into buying something you don't really want.

Good luck on your car shopping. All cars are too expensive these days. The end of the month is the best time to buy. Sales people are trying to meet their quota.

Car shopping can be annoying - glad you didn't let the sales people pressure you. :)
