Do you think this statement is true?

My SPfriend posted this as a tip. Have been pondering it for a while. Thought I'd ask Sparkland.....

'Every day you can do 1 of 2 things; you can build health or you can promote disease in yourself.'

Is this true?
There is no in between?
Is it an either/or?

    "Where there's time, there's decline"

The Downward Spiral, is visible all around us.
Everything is marching towards its undoing, from the moment its created.

The "in between" would be when you're not making as great an effort to maintain your health.

Picture Life as a River, Time as its current, with Death as the Sea.
And you afloat as a boat upon its surface...
Healthy days are those when you are paddling upstream, away from the Sea.
"Inbetween days" are days when you paddle upstream, but not as hard or as long.
Unhealthy days are when you not only stop paddling, but you paddle downstream.

In all instances, you aren't as strong as the River's current, so as Time unwinds, you inevitably come closer to the Sea.

But the more you paddle(promote health) the longer it will take you to reach the Sea.

But even under the best of circumstances, Death is our destination.

    BERRY4 definitely has explained the principle. If we aren't actively pursuing health, then we are promoting disease even by inaction.

    Yes, I think you can do one or two things to promote your health. As far as promoting disease, would that be the opposite of promoting? But, I don't really think so. I know that answer makes no sense. Good question. LOL

    Ok my friend... you asked for it. (not really) But you say you like to write (I think that was somewhere in past items??!). How about read somewhat technical "stuff'.


The "law" that came to mind, is the Law of Entropy. This is a law of PHYSICS --meaning all things, living and nonliving. Everything is on a downhill slide! And I mean EVERYTHING! So, I believe it stands to reason, if you are not extending energy towards "fixing" or building something up, you are in fact deciding to let the Law of Entropy follow its natural course.

With the idea that the body will return to dust, and unfortunately, too often that involves disease, it does seem to fit the above reference to the physical law.

You decide, of course, if that applies to you!
