Sunny Sunday.

Sunday, February 16, 2014

It was a beautiful sunny day today. What a change, but it was bitter cold.
I babysat yesterday so had an early night. This morning went to mass and then shopping. I only had to get a few things. I stood at the bus stop with my face facing the sun, soaking up the energy and the heat.
No cooking today as my daughter had made a curry and she brought over the left overs. I Cooked mushrooms and had a few tablespoons of the sauce over them with rice. She always has food left over and normally just throws it away. I have cottoned on to this fact and now I always ask her to bring her bits over. She has just cooked roast chicken, which means they have just eaten one breast. So I will make a lovely stew/soup with what's left.
I love reading other peoples blogs and I sometimes comment. I find this very hard. You see I am not a very good writer and find it hard to express what I want to say.
So today I walked, drank the water and tracked my food. Oh yes and I cleared out a drawer, which was full of old paperwork. I think I can count that as decluttering.

Just be yourself. I doubt there are many here judging the writing of others. We are here to encourage one another to get healthy. Our emotions play a great part in that and if we don't write about them, sometimes they overwhelm us. I like to read your blogs.

Glad you got to enjoy the sunny too - it was sunny here - even though I was at work most of the day it was still good to see!

The weather here is much the same it seems, when it is dreary and grey out, it is not as cold, but when the sun is out, it gets frigid! I haven't decided which is worse.

Stay warm my friend.

Love your new picture!! Happy to hear you got to soak up some sunshine today. Hoping to hear that all you UK Sparkers are out of the woods as far as the rain and wind goes?? We are having very high winds so I will have to drive my mother to her job tomorrow as she had a little fender bender and I don't trust that the hood will not fly open in this wind...and that would really be a nightmare!

When I first joined sparks, I felt I was not that great of a writer either. The more I wrote the easier it became. The more I learned about sparks the better I felt I was able to use that knowledge to help and encourage others.

From reading your blogs, you are able to express yourself well. I guess that fear of placing yourself out there in your own words seems daunting. YOU are doing really well and I hope you do not give up!
