Motivating Goals (other than weight loss)

Today I read an interesting blog about goal setting. The focus was not the scale or even to lose weight. Here's the link:

I decided to post my own motivating goals:

Performance goal: to consistently walk a 5k in an hour or less.

Real-life goal: get rid of the car seat belt extender

Health goal: get rid of my pre-diabetic diagnosis

Movement goal: 30 minutes of exercise, six days a week

Feel good goal: reduce stress by daily doing 15 minutes or one action off my to-do list

    Awesome! I've been wanting to read this blog ever since you told us about it in the Stingray chat, but couldn't find time! Now I'm going to read the article you linked here.... I think it is great to focus on something other than those numbers on the scale and your goals are realistic and achieveable! Good for you and thanks for sharing!
