Has a great day yesterday!

Sunday, February 16, 2014

Yesterday, I got up at 5:30 in the morning to go to my 5k training. We did 19 minutes of warm ups, then walked 2 miles, and another 10 minutes or so of stretching. I had to immediately, go and get gas, and go by the store, then the team had a meeting at Fleet Feet, teaching us about good running form. I even ran about 30 seconds to the end of the alley, but had to walk back. I would love to run, but just can't breathe well enough:)
After that, I had to get home and change my clothes and clean up because I met a few women from my new church for lunch at Garcia's. I had the enchilada plate and we had a great time. It was fun getting to know them, and them, me:)
After that I had to go straight over to my daughter's because she was having a "Candle party" and I bought a candle holder and a candle. She asked me to host a party at the end of March, so I said I would. She gets something for that:)
I came home and slept the rest of the day, so I have to clean the house today, get groceries for the week, and do some laundry.
I think church is going to be better and better, the more I get to know people:)
Oh yeah! I lost another pound too!

Congratulations on your pound loss! I'm glad you found a church you like. It's made a huge difference for me since I found mine.

After a day like that you must have been exhausted!

    Sounds like a busy day.

I have given up on running because it is too hard on my knees. Also you burn juts as many calories walking a mile as running a mile. It just takes longer.

Keep up the great work.
