lousy mood + cardio workout = improved outlook

Upstate NY weather forecast snow and clouds, or cloudy with snow.
It is this time of the year I can not stand the color Gray.
The limited sun, cold and being inside so much leaves me wanting to sleep and sleep and sleep.
I feel crabby, grouchy, and unmotivated to do anything. What a crappy way to spend Feb.
So today with my bed doing a siren song I left the house and went to the fitness center. Lights, noise, people. The RX I needed. So 16 min on the treadmill, 21 min on the vmx, and 21 min on the recumbent stepper.
I felt so much better. My knee was able to handle the treadmill (incline 5.5 speed only 2.7) I can't go fast so I look for other ways to make it a challenge.
Tomorrow I will be back for a longer work out, maybe in the therapy pool
