Why pick on our 16-year old daughter?

Saturday, February 15, 2014

How can you tell your own daughter, "I have 4 other children if you don't like me?"

The emotional scars...my God will heal.

I just pray that the law of the land shows justice to someone who puts his family through turmoil. Sowing seeds of discord is NOT how you escape a marriage. Placing the children in the midst of it all is absolutely unacceptable.

Praying for inner peace of my daughters throughout this trying time.
This too shall pass...

That is sad!! He must be trying new and creative ways to hurt you without thought of what it is doing to your children. I'm so sorry that it's happening this way :( I have no doubt that your daughters will be ok, though, because you are a strong and smart woman. That rubs off!

Thanks for all the words of encouragement!
I know justice will prevail. God will see us through this and my children will flourish mentally and academically.

I am so sorry your daughter has to experience such rejection at a time in her life when she needs support. You can't control what anyone else does or says but you can explain that hurting someone with words is not acceptable for anyone. And that you love her no matter what. God bless. emoticon

This is your opportunity to show your daughter that someone else does not control your emotions and your life. Teach her by example that someone elses' treatment of her need not determine her life, emotions and future. Good luck, honey! emoticon

I'm so sorry to hear this. You can't control the behavior of others but you can make all your children feel securely loved and valued by you. And you can not ask them to take sides with you against anyone else.

Wishing you strength, courage, health and happiness.
