More Snow Expected Tomorrow.
Did We all get put on the Naughty List this year?

I'm about to make some Chicken Vegetable Minestrone Soup.
Went to the Library and checked out a video series called FALL starring Gillian Anderson. I also got a book on Pressure Cooking.

Not sure which I prefer.
Pressure Cooking versus Slow Cooker.
Both make my culinary creations very tender and full of flavor.
I still haven't mastered my fear of leaving the crock pot on when I'm not home.

My back is giving me the snow forecast for tomorrow.
I'm going to go easy with the exercise today. I'm guessing another 4-5 inches.
I need to remember the snow when July arrives and we hit a heat wave.

Drive safe ... behave...Go Easy with the Valentines Chocolate.
{ one for me...}

Always love your blogs Sheryl! The healthy snowman looks fantastic, I guess I need a lot more work!!! LOL!!!

I too hope the snow ends soon. The drifts are already so high and roads slippery.

I never tried a pressure cooker. Let me know which you prefer!

I vote for the pressure cooker, although I have not bought one yet. I take anything to my brother's that I want pressure cooked. I'm afraid the crockpot is not getting meat hot enough fast enough. Who knows?

Those were cute pictures. I hope you had a happy Valentine's Day. I like the pressure cooker..It is great for artichokes and speeds up the cooking time.

Be careful with that snow..hope your back is better.

I never have much luck with the crockpot. I do use my pressure cooker to cook beans. They don't take much time that way and I love the texture. But I am always afraid while I am using it!

  Hi Sheryl.........
Now that's a SNOWMAN!!!!!

Your soups always sound so good. This Winter, soup has gone especially good around our house. I love to make it and I love to eat it.

I prefer the Slow-Cooker, but LOVE how tender meat gets in the Pressure Cooker. We used to can Salmon in the Pressure Cooker, and it was sooooo GOOD.

Take care of your back..........with living in a Condo (even with your Ninjas) isn't most of the shoveling done for you? Or, is that a DUMB question?

Happy Valentine's Day!!! emoticon

More snow! Maybe you should just consider hibernating for the winter next year! Too much snow. We got snow and had temperatures in the 20's and now they're forecasting 80 degrees for next Thursday. We'll see if that happens. Crazy weather. Our heat wave in the summer lasts from mid-June to mid-September.

If I were willing to spend more money on a slow cooker I'd definitely get one with a timer. My pressure cooker is a stove top cooker. I need a cookbook for that, too. It scares me a little.

I feel sorry for all of you having too much snow.
We're going to be 73 by tomorrow (we're usually around 50).

Have a great Valentines Day. Keep warm and take it easy.
Be kind to yourself.

Enjoyed reading your blog, the pictures sure do tell a story....
I do like to use my slow cooker more than the pressure cooker. Also don't like to leave appliances on their own......

Of course I've been naughty!! That's no excuse for suffocating me with snow!

I like both pressure cooking and slow cooking. It depends on the dish to me.

We are getting the snow today. Death to snow.

I'm brave with slow cookers and happily leave them on all day (although I won't go out or to bed with the laundry or the dishwasher going...I don't like leaving appliances on their own.) Pressure cookers, though - those things scare me! Luckily...I guess...this isn't usually an issue since I can never find the little top thing. emoticon
