Yea I know...nothing special about today...except to was my third outside run of the year...and I felt invincible....the 5 k on saturdY was tough...I ached, I was dehydrated, and I couldn't run....I finished in 34:xx

After work today, I hit the gym a little hard.....squats, step ups, hammer curls, rows, push ups and sit ups ....

Then I decided to go for a little jog...half marathon training was supposed to start last week,...I'm starting it next week for reasons I will not first long run according to the program will be 9 miles....yea right...I changed it to 7 and am working up front there...but I will do the tempo and speed work....

So I went for a run today to prepare for next week....I was jogging quite slow, but I managed to jog the whole time....I ran a 5k a minute faster than Saturday....just a few seconds off my record....and I jogged it the whole time....I probably could've wentt a teensy bit faster but I was just enjoying it and my music....I walked for a a quarter lap and jogged again...taking about four walk breaks amd going 5.3 miles in an hour....too bad there wSnt a race then becUse I easily could've kept going....

So when is my ideal time to run...

February 13th at 4:50pm after lifting weights in 10 degree weather with two couples, one dog, and one man and his kid to look at me like I'm nuts....

    Your doing better than I, but be careful, I worked very hard the last 45 days and now I am exhausted. Do too much and it will catch up with you. But I am impressed.

    You are awesome - wow! Remember when you were struggling to run a little bit? I am so happy for you that you've stuck with it! Look at you, doing tempo runs and speed work - very cool! I'm doing a HM next month and just love having something to train for!
