I joined Planet Fitness on 31 January 2014. Because I was fighting a winter bug and dealing with some pretty serious menstrual cramps, I first stepped foot into the gym the following Wednesday, 5 February 2014.
Last night – one week later – I weighed myself. I was down 7 lbs!
I've been walking and running my butt off, eating less, eating better, and spending a lot of time on strength training to ensure I build rather than lose muscle.
I was pleasantly surprised by this first, small victory, which I'm sure is just the beginning of my journey towards becoming the strongest, fittest version of me I can be!
