100DWL: Day 3

Thursday, February 13, 2014

Today's assignment from the workbook:

• In your diet or exercise plan, identify a task you don’t feel like doing, and then do it anyway! Record it here.

Core exercises. Don't know WHY I haven't been doing these. I think I just felt I had to drop some fat first before it would really make a difference. I did a whole body strength and toning session this morning, included core.

I really hate drinking water all the time, too. So boring. It's 9:30, got my first two cups in. I don't usually count my coffee, but that would make it 3 cups.

• Notice how it feels to accomplish a goal by taking a “no matter what” approach to it. Describe your reaction.

I feel kind of smug and virtuous about getting on track with the core stuff. Hopefully I can keep it going. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE REALLY to do some crunches every day?

• Make a list of several actions you plan to stick with today, regardless of how you feel at the moment.

Eating a little higher in my calorie range---this scares the heck out of me.
Adding a little more fat in my diet. I have been going high fiber/low fat, and it does not do good things to my digestive system. Got to stop thinking that eliminating or drastically minimizing any one type of food is a good idea.

I guess I should add my stats on this journey:

Day 1: 191.6
Day 2: 191.6
Day 3: 190.2

I don't know where my head is today, I have to edit this post...that should have been 191.6 the last two days....

Sheesh, I should just go back to bed now.
