That's right, the scale moved this week, but not until a couple of days ago. After waiting close to two weeks for any real change, I finally made it to 209 on Tuesday, and today...207.4!
Sometimes, that's the way it works.
(Actually, I got to 207.4 yesterday but didn't believe it. That kind of jump isn't real until I see it two days in a row.)
That's a total of 9.6 pounds lost in six weeks.
We are now approaching uncharted territory. I DO remember 201. I hit it briefly while on Weight Watchers a dozen years ago. I don't remember what made me give it up, because it was very successful for me. I lost 53 pounds in about seven months but quickly shot up from there, reaching my highest weight within a few years.
But below 200??? I left for university at about 165 and returned at 225, and never really weighed myself in between. So 200 went by in a haze of beer and potato skins down at Piper's Pub in the late '90s.
But I've not crossed back over that line, heading downward, ever. I'm hoping to do it by my next doctor's appointment in mid-March.
