Day 4 of Half-Marathon Training

Day 4 was a rest/cross-train day. I was scheduled to go to a parent-teacher conference after work, and so I thought I would have a rest day, but the conference was cancelled and so I ended up doing a Zumba workout. I love doing Zumba! I love to dance, and this workout is not only a fun way to get my dance on, but it also works my core and my arms.

Last night's dinner consisted of a large baked potato, which I cut up and ate with a big bowl of romaine lettuce and dressing that I made out of tahini, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and a bit of salt & pepper. YUM! It's the simple meals that really seem to taste the best, and seem to be the most satisfying and filling!

Tonight I'm supposed to run 3 miles, which will be on the treadmill. Things are looking up, though. Next week's forecast is calling for rain and temperatures in the 40's, so hopefully a lot of the snow we've had will melt and I can go back outside to run!
