I can't let fear hold me back.

Wednesday, February 12, 2014

In general but I was thinking specifically of ice. I've been wary of going outside walking too much because I know it will be icy. I have the tools to deal with ice and I really should get out anyway. I've been feeling cranky and a short walk to pick up a package made me feel so much better. I need to be careful, yes but I need the fresh air and sun too. It felt so good to feel the cold air on my face and the sun on my back and to just stretch my legs outside. There's nothing like it.

I'm going out tomorrow again. I had an indoor workout today for the sake of the fact that I'm making yogurt which requires some babysitting. Tomorrow I actually have some things to do out which should be nice and then Monday I am going out with my nieces so I actually have some fun things planned that should get me out.

It's hard to get too cold for me! Those days we had below zero kept me in but not anything above zero and certainly not the teens!

Wow, my hats off to you, as I gave up going outside to walk, quite some time ago, as the air was just too cold and damp for me. However, I'm still walking. I have several DVDs by Leslie Sansone, The Walking Queen, and she really puts me through my paces. I do at least 5 miles a day with her.

Be blessed,
