Day 2 Blog

Hello SparkPeople and Spark Teammates! As we are getting ready for they are calling a catastrophic weather event -- I think everyone in the WORLD saw Atlanta on the news with our 24 hour car jam, I am feeling ready. Today I realized that I can walk over an hour in the house and still get my walking done. We bought gas for the generator, just in case, and have food, toilet paper, and water. I have LOTS of books to read and some tutoring materials to make, so while I hope we do not lose power for days...or even a week as they are telling us, I am great!

I have set my goals for how far I want to walk and what streaks I want to keep going and I have made notes on how to get there by what I need to do daily.

I am logging my food BEFORE I eat it. I have found that I don't have guilt yet because it hasn't happened yet. I have also found that I can still have what I want and not feel guilty because I made the choice. And I was AWARE of the choice. Back to my accountability issue from yesterday. Making choices and owning up to those choices is being accountable.

Got my 10,000 steps in and tomorrow is my day to get on the scales. Not avoiding it!

I am feeling peaceful and blessed. Think this is the calm before the storm??? LOL
