Still Going Strong

So, proud that I've stuck to my guns these last few days. I'm really getting to it... tracking every day. It's motivating me to get myself to the gym. SparkPeople has really helped me to keep it up and look forward to something every day. It makes me proud to log my accomplishments, keep track, and stay organized.
Last night, I almost decided not to go to the gym because my husband bailed on me at the last minute so I was going to use it as an excuse not to go myself. But, I said absolutely not... I got up immediately before I changed my mind, got dressed for the gym, and went for it and had a great workout. I felt so good and happy that I was so determined.
I've also noticed that I've been staying fuller, not craving as much, and just have been really motivated looking forward to the new and improved me and proud of all my little accomplishments along the way. I could cut back on some of the fat that I have had in my diet and change up what I'm eating a little more, such as adding in some even healthier snacks and more VEGGIES and FRUITS. But, there's always room for progress and I'm working toward my goal and that's what matters. Every step forward is one step closer to "ME".
It's great motivation to keep it up because I can and I will do this. I will not let another year go by and look back wishing I could do it over again or dwelling on the what if's and what I didn't do. This will be MY YEAR!
