More shooting less eating

Tuesday, February 11, 2014

My new bread of the week was Orange Cranberry Broa, it's a cornmeal based bread. Week 46 countdown and today I was not lazy and took out my real camera.

Friday night I shot a downtown event to get my name out and about in town. It was a chocolate competition then all the little businesses are opened and have chocolate out. Some pictures from it.

It was a really cold night, I think it went below 0 while we were out walking. I have worked Tour De chocolat the past 2 yrs and this is the first yr I got to go do it. Pretty dead because of the temps. I did almost get 20,000 steps that day which was good. No easy task in this weather.

Getting sick of car issues over here! 3 weeks ago my handle on my car broke, had to take it in to get fixed, 90 bucks. Last week, Scott's windshield got a little crack from a rock and thanks to the awesome cold, the crack split to 9 inches long in no time, 250 dollar deductible. my check engine light is on..... please please please please car gods, leave us alone!

I am off to run and hit a water aerobics class and find my sanity in the pool.

My hubby saw your bread and was intrigued. He is a bread maker too.

The chocolate event sounds wonderful. I loved the pictures.

I'm sick of the cold weather. This is supposed to be our last arctic polar freeze. I hope good weather is on the way.

My car door handle broke last week. Such a pain!! My engine light is on too. Must be care gremlins.

Tour de chocolate - OMG I want to go to that!!!!!!!!!!! Great photos!!!!!!

And my "check engine" light would go on when the car was scheduled for its tuneup - every 6 months or so. Might just be that.
