I have not seen any of her movies, but Turner Classic is going to have a whole day of them coming up, so I will have to catch them!

I am very impressed by her achievements, particularly after seeing how many former child stars struggle for normalcy after their careers stall or change. RIP.

What a wonderful life she lived, and she gave so much joy to us when we were children. I remember watching her movies in the 1950s when they'd be on TV on Saturday afternoon. Oh, we loved watching the "LITTLE RASCALS" and "The Three Stooges" as well. Lots of comedy without any four-letter words ever used. My oldest half sister was named Shirlene after her. My mother said everyone wanted to name a baby Shirley after Shirley Temple in the 1930s, so she named her first girl Shirlene, so it was different.
